THIS PAGE will tell you about who I am, some books I have written
which may be of interest, and the College of which I am the Director, Tyndale
College, the Australasian Open Theological College, which is a distance
education college in theology. Links from each heading can then take you
to further information on each of these.
Trained as an accountant, and worked in this profession for some years.
Went to Bible College and Theological College, ordained into the Anglican
ministry in Sydney. In charge of several parishes; on the faculty of Moore
Theological College; another parish; a term as a film censor. Then on the
faculty of Sydney Missionary and Bible College, Croydon NSW. Currently,
Director of Tyndale College.
Academic: various diplomas and degrees in Accountancy, Theology,
and Linguistic Science.
Writings: author of several articles and a dozen books of various sizes.
Several projects in hand.
A detailed treatment of biblical teaching about marriage, sex, marital
problems, divorce, and remarriage.
Gives particular attention to birth control issues, the question of
animal sex and human sexuality, and the eleven different views about divorce
and remarriage held in the churches and amongst Christians in general.
A careful examination of all the passages of the Bible which are appealed
to by those on different sides of the debate about the question of the
ministry of women in the church. Its conclusion:
Most writers are right in most of what they say; a middle way between
the extremes is proposed.
A beginner's textbook which presents all of the grammar necessary to begin
reading the Greek NT, arranged in a systematic way. Makes the fullest use
of all of the insights into language function and language learning which
have come from the development of Linguistic Science. Uses ONLY actual
extracts from the Greek NT as illustrations, and translation exercises:

Comes as a set with a Student Workbook. (A Teacher's Workbook is available,
with answers filled in.)
This college of distance education, accredited as a teaching institution
of the Central School of Religion, London, offers courses leading to the
awards of a certificate, diploma, and degree in Theology.
Open to all. Credit given for previous equivalent work at comparable
university level (conditions apply).
Mentions a few previous books (two still in print), and a current project,
